The story of a company...
My name is Placide, and I am the founder of Kibodo . 4 years ago, with an engineering degree in my pocket, I signed my permanent contract. My path seemed all mapped out. But I was driven by a very specific project: to bring a renewal to the world of high-tech.
In 2019, alongside my work, I decided to create Kibodo based on a simple observation: A workspace that we like and that suits us makes office life much more enjoyable!
2 years later, I made a decision: to resign! The temptation to continue on my path and make Kibodo grow was too strong not to try…
... innovative and full of ambition
Four years later, the team has grown, and Kibodo has evolved: from my bedroom, then my small office, then my living room, since 2023 we have been installed in large offices in Pau, within the Helioparc technology park: renowned in the region for welcoming innovative companies.
And we don't stop there! Kibodo is also a member of French Tech, and participates in major global events with the aim of making our mission heard, that of bringing a breath of fresh air and modernity to the world of high-tech.
The Kibodo adventure has only just begun, the future remains to be written, and we will write it together .

Logistics
Every day, we store, package and label products in our warehouse located in Pau.
Each order you place is carefully packaged in a recycled and recyclable envelope, and delivered to the carrier within 24 hours.

Our history
2019
Creation
The company was founded under the name "Bamboo Electronics" and quickly became a reference in bamboo office accessories thanks to the iconic Bigboard (office keyboard made entirely of bamboo).
2021
rhizome duo
KIBODO launched its very first mechanical keyboard, which met with great success via a pre-sale campaign on the Ulule platform.
€5,000 in pre-sales will be recorded on the first day.
2023
ifa Berlin
KIBODO is present at the largest tech fair in Europe in Berlin.
The now completed product range is attracting interest from many distributors.
2024
Las Vegas this 2024
KIBODO is present at the largest tech show in the world: CES in Las Vegas.
A notable presence specially dedicated to the launch of the brand's new flagship: the Rhizome Lite mechanical keyboard.
